     Bernie Fraser</B></div> <bR> <div> <I><B><U>Vacant Committee Positions</U></B></I></div> <div> The three vacant positions were filled last night at a special meeting held by the Committee.  The positions will be taken up by Sam Walker, Brad Belford and Nathan Goodwin.  We welcome Sam, Brad and Nathan onto our committee and look forward to working with them towards making our Townsville Club an exciting and positive venue.  Our thanks also must go to the other nominees for taking the time to nominate.</div> <bR> <div> Gary Heath has been voted to the position of President and Marilyn Randall, Vice-President for the duration of this financial year.  </div> <bR> <div> <I><B><U>Sponsor</U></B></I></div> <div> We would like to welcome <B>Garrard's Horse and Hound</B> onto the Townsville Track, they have become a major sponsor of the 380m boxes and we look forward to a positive working relationship with them.  Their store at 38 Carmel Street, Garbutt has all that the greyhound trainer needs to keep their greyhounds fit and healthy.  So drop in and see Greg and Beckie for all your greyhound requirements Monday to Friday.</div> <bR> <div> <I><B><U>Trials</U></B></I></div> <div> Unfortunately last Thursday night there was some confusion as to whether we would have trials or not considering the rain that fell in a very short space of time.
